Apostle Laura Calhoun is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Restored Life Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Restored Life Church, is a non-denominational ministry birthed fresh from the heart of God with a command to create, train and equip disciples who will be charged to gather the lost and produce laborers for the harvest.

Apostle Calhoun is also the Founder and President of the Nehemiah Women’s Resource Center, NWRC. NWRC is a community outreach ministry. The mission of NWRC is to treat the whole person, Spirit, Soul & Body. Since inception, women from all walks of life have found healing and deliverance from all types of crisis, to include rape, abuse, domestic violence, addictions and other situations that have robbed them of their true identities.

Apostle Calhoun is truly a woman driven with an unquenchable passion for the heart of the Father. She ministers with the tongue of a disciple, delivering a word in season to those who are weary. Apostle Calhoun flows with a strong Governmental, Prophetic and Administrative mantle seeking to establish Kingdom order and excellence for the Body of Christ. Utilizing discipleship, love and value; Pastor Calhoun is determined to do the will of the Father by travailing until Christ is formed, warring with the weapon of love and training the spiritual eye to capture, tap into and pull out the jewels that God created in His children.

Apostle Laura Calhoun is also on the Board of Directors of Colorado Springs Early College High School.  A charter school where youth are given an opportunity to earn an Associate’s Degree while attending high school. 

Apostle Calhoun was born in the Bronx, NY. She grew up on Long Island where she graduated from Central Islip Senior High School. She also attended Howard University in Washington, DC for 2 years. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at CSU-Pueblo. 

Apostle Calhoun was saved in November of 1986 in Tacoma, Washington at Emmanuel Church and God in Christ; her Pastors were Elder and Mother Melton. In 1991 the Lord brought her to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she received most of her ministry training. She attended Grace Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastors’ Mark & Linda Cowart. She served in the ministry there and learned Excellency in Kingdom Ministry. She also attended Solid Rock Christian Church under the Leadership of Apostle Calvin Johnson.  Apostle Johnson is still a vital influence in her life today.  Apostle Calhoun received training in the Prophetic from Christian International of the Rockies under the leadership of Apostle Jimmie Reed.  On October 31, 2004, while some people were celebrating death, Restored Life Church was celebrating Life by having its first service in the garage of Apostle Calhoun’s home.

Apostle Calhoun is the Mother of three beautiful and talented daughters, Yolanda, Akia and Michaela. She is also the proud grandmother of Jayla, Elijah and Iyana.
